When her 9-year-old daughter’s dreams of becoming a gymnast are on the line, a mother behind bars struggles to keep her whereabouts a secret. Inspired by the real experiences of a former prisoner, Birds is a fast-paced, tender love story about mums, daughters and daring to dream.
